Who we are

What the app stores, and where

Your business profile, quotes, invoices, clients, templates, price list, photos, logo, signatures and generated PDFs are stored in the app's private folder on your device.

Code-Dash has no copy and no way to see them. The app makes no network requests to us or to anyone else: no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting service and no tracking. It does not use the advertising identifier.

The details you enter about your own clients are yours. You decide what to record and what to share. We never receive them.

Device features the app uses

Photos. Choosing a photo uses the system photo picker, which gives the app only the photos you pick. The app does not ask for access to your photo library.

Camera. Only if you tap “Take photo”. iOS asks your permission the first time. Photos you take are saved inside the app, not to your library.

Notifications. Quote reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. iOS asks your permission the first time. Nothing is sent to a server.

Face ID, Touch ID and passcode. If you turn on the app lock, iOS checks your face, fingerprint or passcode. The app only learns whether the check passed. It never sees your biometric data or passcode.

Apple Pencil and signatures. Handwriting is turned into text by iOS Scribble on your device. Signatures you capture are stored in the app and placed only in that quote's PDF.

When data leaves your device

Sharing. A PDF or backup file leaves the app only when you share it, through the iOS share sheet, to the destination you choose (email, Messages, Files, a printer and so on). That destination's own privacy terms then apply.

Payment links. If you add your own payment link (for example Stripe or PayPal), the app prints it on your PDFs as a link and a QR code. The app does not contact the payment provider. Your client's payment happens on that provider's site, under its terms.

Device backups. Quote Studio does not use iCloud and does not sync between devices. Separately, iOS's own device backup (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer, if you have turned one on) includes the data of the apps on your device, Quote Studio's included. That backup is run by iOS and Apple under Apple's privacy policy; Code-Dash has no access to it.

Apple. Apple processes App Store downloads and purchases. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous usage figures and crash reports. These do not include the content of your quotes.

Keeping and deleting data

Data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete draft quotes in the app. Finalized quotes stay so their PDF remains available. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on that device. Copies in your device backups or in places you shared files to are not affected.

Your rights, children, changes

Because we hold no personal data from the app, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question, email us. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.

Quote Studio is a business tool and is not directed at children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If the app ever starts collecting data, we will say so here and in the App Store listing before that version ships.
